What are the County Brides Awards?

County Brides is a wedding publication and planning platform that helps

couples organise their special day by connecting them with wedding venues and suppliers.

It provides inspiration, advice and information to help couples make

informed decisions when planning their wedding.

County Brides also runs the County Brides Wedding Awards,

an annual event recognising wedding businesses and professionals

across a range of categories, including venues, photographers,

DJs and Master of Ceremonies.

The awards give couples an opportunity to recognise the suppliers who

made a positive impression on their wedding day,

while helping future couples discover trusted professionals

for their own celebrations.

During my years working down in England,

I've been incredibly proud to have received a nomination every year since 2020.

For me, these awards are about more than recognition.

I believe they can help future couples feel more confident when choosing their wedding DJ.

After all, finding a reliable DJ who is the right fit for your wedding can be difficult.

Ideally, you'd love to see your chosen DJs in action before making a decision.

However, as we all know, it's not really practical to just turn up at someone else's wedding!

That's where the County Brides Wedding Awards mean something special to me.

The awards are held annually,

giving couples the opportunity to recognise wedding suppliers

who made a lasting impression on their special day.

One thing I particularly like is that the voting process is organic.

Personally, I have no idea which couples have been contacted or who has voted for me.

Couples are contacted directly, usually through the venue they've booked,

and can vote in whichever categories they wish, whether that's their venue, photographer, DJ,

Master of Ceremonies or another wedding supplier.

To have been nominated for seven consecutive years is something I'm genuinely proud of.

For me, it's about knowing that couples who put their faith in me to DJ their wedding

have remembered the service and experience I provided and taken the time to recognise it.

Being trusted with such an important part of someone's wedding day is a privilege,

so knowing that I've made a lasting impression means a great deal to me.

Seven years of nominations, and every one means something special.
