An Insight
Thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about me.
Every DJ has their own style, and I believe choosing the right one is just as important as choosing the right venue.
My approach has always been simple.
I focus on understanding the audience, reading the room,
and creating an enjoyable memorable atmosphere from start to finish
My Style as a DJ
I believe it's very important to find a DJ who's in tune with you & your guests.
For example, If you were looking for a live singer.
You wouldn't choose a Taylor Swift tribute for a 60th birthday,
equally a Tom Jones for an 18th.
I believe the same principle applies when choosing a DJ.
Every event deserves its own style, and I adapt to suit the feel of the evening.
I constantly read the room adjusting the music accordingly,
with just the right amount of microphone work.
My aim is to create a wonderful atmosphere for your occasion.
My style is best suited to events where a professional, well-balanced approach is valued.
For example, Corporate Functions, Golf Clubs Dinners,
Masonic Events, Dinner Dances, and Milestone Birthdays.
If you're looking for a DJ who values reliability, professionalism and creating the right atmosphere,
I'd be delighted to help.
even include some tasteful games.
The Music
I have an absolutely huge digital music collection, built up over many decades.
It is stored on physical drives, so I'm never dependent on Wi-Fi or a mobile signal.
I also love listening to music, and make a point of spending time
just browsing through my music collection.
By regularly revisiting my collection.
I rediscover forgotten gems and keep my knowledge fresh
What I often believe makes me stand out, is not just what songs I play,
but how I use my expertise to play them at the best moment.
Plus choosing the right song to follow, or knowing exactly when to change genres.
This can completely transform the atmosphere and keep the dance floor moving.
My library ranges from the 1950s right through to the latest chart music,
but " I tend to mainly play music from the 70s to the early noughties.
These are also what I get ask to play, and equally match the events that I get booked for.
However I do also carry a good selection of Ballroom, Jazz, Country, Etc.
I always say "Play to the majority, but include the minority"
"That way, everybody gets a bit of something they like"
The Equipment
I know many people are generally not that interested in the gear a DJ uses.
However, I think that the equipment I use says a lot about the service I give.
I invest in reliable Tour-Grade equipment with backup gear always to hand.
I use Self-Amplified sound equipment, meaning your event isn't reliant on any single piece of kit.
My lighting is fully programmed to complement both the music,
and what is happening throughout your event.
Everything is controlled by professional show control system.
Administration
I carry full public liability insurance, and all my equipment is PAT tested.
(certificates available on request)
Each booking complies with UK data protection legislation.
Each booking is securely stored as a paper copy, digital copy and cloud backup
My vehicle is regularly serviced and covered by full roadside assistance.
Going The Extra Mile
Planning any event can be a daunting prospect, especially if you've never organized one before.
There are often questions about the best time to start,
serve the food, cut the cake, have your first dance, and much more.
My aim is simple, to make your event enjoyable, stress-free and memorable.
That's probably why so many venues recommend me
